Key Volunteer Descriptions
Key volunteers are committed volunteers for the duration of the swim season (exempt from additional volunteer requirements).

CONCESSIONS
Run the concession stand during home swim meets.
COMPUTER OPERATORS
Work with the opposing team and coaches to prepare heat sheets for the meet and enter times during the meet.
OFFICIALS COORDINATOR
Help recruit, train and organize stroke and turn judges, starters and referees at the swim meets.
PHOTOGRAPHER
Take pictures during swim meets and social events.
RIBBON WRITER
Report to the scoring table/computer operator table on time normally 30 min after meet start. Place award stickers on back of the ribbons, sort them by team, and file our swimmers ribbons in the Torpedoes ribbons box. This job does require the volunteer to stay after the meet to finish up as the labels are still being printed. Please plan on taking the boxes home after away meets and finish the filing for all swimmers. Please return ribbon boxes the following day to the swim team supply room.
SPIRIT WEAR COORDINATOR
Manage the team's spirit wear, swag and store.
SPONSORSHIP COORDINATOR
Collect sponsors for the Torpedoes Swim Team.
